WhatsApp will soon add and share contacts quickly using the QR code. This new way of adding contacts will facilitate the task of manually uploading data such as name and phone number, since the app will automatically complete all information fields, as it is possible to do on Snapchat and other similar platforms.
Currently WhatsApp has two QR code readers, one of them allows you to check the security of a conversation and the other is used to connect WhatsApp Web, but .. none of them allows you to incorporate new contacts from the app without having to resort to the contacts of the mobile device.
In addition WhatsApp will incorporate another feature very related to the latter. The new interface will include the option to select the country of the contact, which will automatically incorporate the code of the corresponding country in front of the telephone number facilitating the loading of data.
Also with this update, when entering the phone number WhatsApp will tell the user if that contact has an active account or not in the application.
Both functions will soon be available for iOS and Android , according to the media through the WABeta Info portal, internationally recognized for anticipating the first of the messaging service.
