Here's how to turn off WhatsApp Web notifications:
- Login normally to the application,
- Click on the three points located in the upper left margin, right where the profile picture is.
- Select the "Settings" option.
- Then choose "Notifications".
- In this section it is possible to choose between several options, if you want to cancel the sound, the preview of the message, etc. There is also the possibility to select to disable absolutely all or any desktop notifications.
It is worth mentioning that when this last option is chosen, the period that goes from eight hours, a week or always must also be defined.
