Invoxia: New smart collar for dogs

This new smart collar, developed by the Invoxia firm, tracks the dog's vital signs in a non-invasive way, such as its resting heart rate and respiratory rate, among others, as well as serving as a GPS locator.

The innovative technology of this collar also makes it possible to follow the routine of the animal carrying the device, that is, using artificial intelligence it is possible to know when the dog is resting, running, walking, barking, eating or drinking.

The collar has a cover that is removed to be sanitized and not affect the sensors it has, it also has an escape alert and built-in buzzer. At the moment it was designed only for medium to large sized animals. Obviously, it connects to a mobile phone app and is compatible with GPS, Bluetooth, WiFi and LTE-M.

This device can be very useful after dog surgery, to learn how it can react to certain medications or to heart or respiratory diseases. So it is also good to use it to prevent, helping owners and veterinarians to detect anomalies in the animal.

Invoxia plans to sell these necklaces for approximately USD 99 and there will be a monthly subscription of USD 12.99 for the geolocation service.
