As we already know, social networks are a space widely used to make purchases. For this reason, the platform will offer the possibility for users to see how they look with them, through a virtual fitting room called "Dress Up".
Snapchat announced last Thursday, at the Partner Summit 2022, that it is working on expanding its functions to give the possibility of virtually trying on accessories and clothing with Augmented Reality (AR) before buying them.
The tool that will be incorporated is called "Dress Up" , which will act as a kind of "shopping center" , so that users have a better experience in finding and being able to see how they look with what they want to buy. Dress Up is not intended to be a catalog of objects to buy, but rather a fun, entertaining and interactive option for people.
On the other hand, this new proposal is designed in the area related to fashion and self-exposure, allowing cybernauts who use it not only to be able to see themselves with the garment or accessory, but also to take a photo to share it with friends and ask for tips on the look.
The feature will also have content from creators, fashion opinions and brand insights; that will be adjusted according to the preferences and location of the user.
