Activating this option is very simple, and its purpose is to increase security to avoid being victims of a hijacked account and/or identity theft.
When One-Step Verification is activated, the app asks to register a recovery email and a 6-digit PIN that will be requested when trying to log in with our number on a new device or another terminal. The PIN will also be requested regularly to remind you of it.
