Instagram has implemented a tool that allows users to make purchases within the application. At the moment, Checkout is in closed test mode (beta version) in United States consumers; but the idea, without a certain date, is to extend this solution to other countries.
The brands that have joined this experiment are Dior, Adidas, Prada, Nike, Michael Kors and Huda Beauty.
Within Checkout , as it has been called this tool, there will be a section "orders" where you can see what is requested, cancel it, return it, communicate with the seller, etc.
In turn, companies that offer their products in Checkout can share them through their publications and organic stories and users can search for products that appeal to them under the "search and browse" tab. This option tends to when users find something they like and want to buy do not need to leave the app to go to Amazon or another platform to find it.
