It is a "hidden" menu, which is displayed by pressing and holding the WhatsApp icon and is available for both Android and iOS. In this way, it is possible to access certain tools of the platform without having to access it directly.
In the case of the first operating system, when you open this menu, you can view the last contacts with whom you have chatted and the button to access the camera.
For devices that use iPhone, from this menu you can access the QR code, the camera, start a new chat or search for something specific, as shown below:
