Whatsapp has a quick access, not known to everyone, that allows access to different functions by simply pressing the application icon for a few seconds. This access works with the latest app update on both Android and iOS devices.
On Android , when you open the app in this way, the drop-down menu takes you to add specific widgets, access the camera, open some of the latest chats, and information about the app itself; on iOS it allows you to share your home screen, access “My QR code” to go to contacts, start new chats and search. In both there is the option to uninstall or delete the app.
Whatsapp also has some options when it comes to adding style to your chats by highlighting phrases or words. These are used through specific functions that are not visible to all users.
