Facebook introduced accounts to know the closest friends of its users and the content they prefer to see in their Feed, in order to prioritize the publications.
The new update for Facebook Feed aims to connect people with the most relevant posts for them, not to improve the time they spend on the application but to improve the quality of the time spent doing it.
This means that Facebook wants its users to see what they most want in their Feed more quickly, be it family posts, articles or videos of the pages that follow.
To achieve this Facebook is knowing what people prefer, what they do on the platform, what they like and share. For these reasons, you have introduced you to find more information about the context of the posts that your users want to see and who they come from.
In its statement Facebook announced two types of surveys, the first prioritizes the content of the friends (closest) of those who want to know news and the other prioritizes links to the news that the user may consider more valuable.
It should be noted that they will help improve the functioning of the Facebook algorithm, which does not mean that fewer pages or publications of other friends will be displayed.
