The figures were recently released by Google, when updating the downloads of the Telegram service in its official store for Android - Play Store.
After the most important drop in the history of the services provided by Mark Zuckerberg's company, the messaging application “Telegram”, led by Pavel Durov, surpassed 1,000 million installations only in the Play Store last weekend , when previously it was 500 million.
This happened exactly two weeks after the fall of Facebook, which affected this social network, Instagram and WhatsApp worldwide for about 7 hours.
This “blackout” was the longest that has been registered to date and impacted the company's shares, as it suffered a 4.9% fall during that day in the New York Stock Exchange (USA).
Another fact that should be mentioned is that during that same day, 70 million new users downloaded Telegram.
