At the beginning of last month, WABetaInfo announced that WhatsApp would incorporate polls in group chats for devices with the iOS operating system. As of today, this tool is already available in the beta version 22.6.0.70 of WhatsApp.
In the interface screenshots that WABetaInfo has shared, you can see a function that allows you to ask a question with up to five alternative answers, where the members of the group can vote and it will be shared with the rest.
This function could be very useful for making group decisions, without having to fill the chat with conflicting messages and opinions. For example, decide on the place of departure, meeting, who will attend, among many other options.
From the aforementioned portal, it was recalled that the surveys will be end-to-end encrypted, so only chat members will be able to see the answers and the app itself will not have access to the information resulting from them.
The beta version of this tool for Android is in the first stage of development, which is why you should have a little more patience until it arrives.
