The messaging service has launched the beta version that allows it to be used on several Android devices simultaneously. Find out more details in this note.
Due to the greater number of uses that WhatsApp has been given in recent times, the platform has recently launched the "multi-device" function. This improvement is available in its beta version for the Android operating system.
It allows you to keep the account open on up to four devices at the same time independently. This means that if, for example, the cell phone was forgotten in a room where we are not, it is possible to open WhatsApp on the computer, tablet or other available devices that have previously been verified as "trustworthy".
What stands out about this new option is the possibility of keeping the phone " disconnected / off " with the possibility of continuing to use the service without inconvenience on the rest of the devices.
The company continues to work on its version 2.0 that will bring this option definitively and for the iOS system.
The dates for this to happen are not yet known but for Android devices it is already possible to test the option in beta, as follows:
1) Enter WhatsApp and click on the three dots that appear in the upper right margin. Then you must choose "Link Devices" where this window will appear:
2) In the previous screen you must select the option "Beta version for several devices" and then "Join the beta version". Ready! Enjoy and try this long-awaited option.
