The WhatsApp messaging service introduced greater security in its new version for iOS. This is face recognition or touch (fingerprint) to unlock and enter the application.
The new version of the app 2.19.20 for iOS, includes the options to unlock it through Face ID or Touch ID. The first option corresponds to the facial recognition and the second to the fingerprints of the user.
To activate them you must go to the "Settings" menu, then to "Privacy", where you will find the "Screen lock" option.
There you must activate one of the two options that depend on the type of iPhone used. The only one that only has facial recognition available is the iPhone X.
Next, you should choose the time in which the identity should be verified.
At the moment it is not known when these options for the Android operating system will be available, but it is expected to be in a short time.
